With a recognised decline in paper sales and a need to develop more sustainable high growth channels,Titan ICT Consultants was engaged to define a Strategic Roadmap that would support a major media organisation’s retail function as their operating model underwent significant change into the future.

Simandou will become the largest integrated iron ore mine and infrastructureproject developed in Guinea, West Africa. Titan ICT Consultants were engagedto utilise their Enterprise Architecture expertise, ICT capability and knowledgeof mining operations to support Rio Tinto in ensuring that all infrastructure andapplication development aligned with business objectives from construction tofirst ore shipment and beyond.

API Management Pty Ltd (API) manages Australian Premium Iron Joint Venture (APIJV). APIJV is an unincorporated joint venture established to develop a long term iron ore export operation in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, comprises of two participants, Aquila Resources Limited (Aquila) and American Metals and Coal International Inc (AMCI). Both companies hold a 50% participating interest in the venture via wholly owned subsidiaries.

The West Pilbara Iron Ore project managed by API (a joint venture between Aquila Resources Limited and American Metals and Coal International Incorporated) shall be developing a 30MTPA pisolite mine and associated rail and port infrastructure. To support the business case and understand the operating and capital spend required, a DFS (Definitive Feasibility Study) was initiated. Titan ICT Consultants were engaged to utilise their extensive telecommunications expertise supporting the resources sector to provide API with the communications backbone component of their DFS
